Service Philosophy

Our philosophy of personalized service means, among other things, that service rendered to your firm would be under the personal supervision of a principal and another senior staff member. We feel that with two experienced people familiar with an account, greater service can be provided in case of absences, vacations, etc. Many times the two-person method gives stronger in-depth and diversified approach to the client's needs.

Accounting and Auditing

The primary desire in this area is to provide the accounting expertise needed to properly guide and advise the client on various accounting functions and to recommend improvements for more efficient operations and the development of effective accounting and administrative controls. Our philosophy and practice is to blend the technical, the practical, and the business approach in each engagement. The auditing services relate primarily to fairness of the presentation of the financial position and operating results.

Management Advisory Services

Normally, the scope of our consulting engagement is determined in large measure by the client. Our aim is to provide “know-how,” not necessarily labor power. Because of our diversification, we are able to help clients in a wide range of functional areas.

Tax Services

One of our principal objectives in tax services is constructive and creative tax planning. Our tax services to clients include the preparation of individual, partnership, corporate, consolidated cooperative and not-for-profit tax returns on the local, state, and federal levels. We prepare consolidated tax returns for our corporate clients, which meet the statutory requirements as to parent subsidiary relationship, etc. We work closely with each client to resolve tax controversies; this includes representation before the Internal Revenue Service.

Diversification

Our clients represent nearly all facets of the economic spectrum. We examine the financial statements and prepare tax returns for various types of organizations.
